Drive out to the middle of the high desert in Southern California and you will find an amazing band of greenhouses filled with orchids near Landers. The Gubler Family first started growing orchids in Switzerland in 1918. The American rendition of this business took off in 1954 and Gubler Orchid Nursery is still family owned to this day. Greenhouse tours are offered along with an amazing array of Orchid and Carnivorous Plants. This weekend they are hosting the 25th Annual Morongo Basin Orchid Festival!
